Account Security
Account Security
Your university account is the key to email, online classes, campus systems, and more — and it needs to be protected.
To access your account, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required all accounts, including students, faculty, and staff. This adds a second layer of protection beyond your password, making it much harder for attackers to access your account — even if your password is stolen.
How Authentication Works
- You log in at my.se.edu using your university email and password.
- MFA prompts you to verify your identity using a mobile app (Microsoft Authenticator), text message, or phone call.
Account Recovery & Password Reset
- Forgot your password? Visit passwordreset.microsoftonline.com to reset it using your registered recovery method.
- Need help accessing your account? Open a support ticket with Information Technology or call (580) 745-2408.
